Radio Components signs distributor agreement in India
Radio Components, Sweden appoints RN Infra Communications Private Limited as Market Representative for India with effect from 04 December 2008.

Radio Components has signed a Distribution Agreement with RN Infra, for the sales, marketing and technical support of its Tower Mounted Booster (TMB) products in the Indian market.

India is becoming a key market for Radio Components, with its tremendous growth of GSM rollout. Currently, almost 10 million new subscribers are added in India every month. TMB technology will allow adding more subscribers with the same infrastructure.

RN Infra is a fast growing company with a strong position in the market for Cellular Base Station Sites, with a successful track record in Sales, Engineering and Implementation Services. Radio Components portfolio suits well into the line of business of RN Infra of today. RN Infra is headquartered in Gurgaon, near New Delhi, but is operational across the country.

The agreement was signed in Gurgaon on December the 4th, 2008 between RN Infar’s’ Chairman, Brigadier Krishna Nandan, VSM and Radio Components’ CEO Jakob Larsen.

On the occasion, Jakob Larsen, CEO of Radio Components said: “During the past months, we have experienced a tremendous attention to our products throughout India, and our partner RN Infra has been crucial in this process of taking our product to the market. India is becoming a key market for us and we are working to strengthen our presence in both for sales and after market support. Finding a prominent partner is the first step in this.”
